Follow the children who live, train and fight in a Thai Boxing camp in Bangkok.
Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand. For thousands of Thai children it provides short-term relief from poverty. Some of them may become champions. For many, the training and fights are brutal.
In a training camp on the outskirts of Bangkok eight boys and one girl live, train and fight.
JangJoa is 12 years old and has already had 85 fights. His dad is both his trainer and a former champion. JangJoa is hugely talented but also under massive pressure - he trains six hours a day and has the physique to prove it. Chery is a 12-year-old girl who is full of potential. She loves Muay Thai and is completely joyful, and very impressive. Chery, like many others, is determined to become a champion. But what are they sacrificing?
Conflicting and spectacular, THE LITTLE THAI FIGHTERS is a powerful representation of the children's lives within Muay Thai.
