The everyday lives of Neapolitan women whose men are in jail
THEIR CHRISTMAS, follows the everyday lives of Neapolitan women whose men are in jail. Stories of solitude and dignity, of troubles and lives on the breadline. Maddalena and Mariarca, Titina and Stefania are burdened with housekeeping and childcare, and have yet another duty: caring for their husbands, who despite their forced absence, are present in every moment. The women preparing the provisions pack, raise money to be left at the prison gate, help each other out and get ready for the difficult weekly jail visit.
This routine never changes, not even when Christmas comes.
