My House (Casa Mia) (12)
Director: Debora Scaperrotta, Italy, 2007, 64 min
Venue: Barbican Centre Screen 3

Part of A Conversation in Europe at LIDF with the Barbican.
On the outskirts of Bucharest, two 14-year-olds live together in an apartment.
With no family to support them, Alex and Petronel, still children but already adults, struggle to cope. Casa Mia follows the lives of these young street children as they set out on two very different journeys, one in pursuit of a dream, the other in search of a home.
Followed by a panel-led discussion.
