Director: Silvia Gigliodoro, Italy, 2007, 21mins
Venue: Curzon Soho
LIDF08: Urban Shorts programme

roman.jpg

Shot entirely at night in Monte Caprino, a gay cruising park in the heart of Rome, this film tries simply to observe the clandestine meetings that take place there and record them, without being intrusive, floating from one random passer-by to another.

An absorbing, conversational piece, reflecting on the nature of privacy and intimacy.

This film is part of the LIDF08: Urban Shorts programme – five short films showing at the Curzon Soho. Total running time 59 minutes.
