World Premiere

An intimate insight into the lives of a group of young Cuban ‘reggaeton’ musicians living in Parraga, a barrio on the outskirts of Havana, an area avoided by the police but home to the city’s underground music scene.
Reggaeton – a mix of Jamaican and Latin American music – is a dynamic force in the lives of the musicians and their families, offering them a way out of their poverty in a country with an uncertain future.
Post-screening discussion with the director Ruth Cross and Britdocs.
