In conversation with Mike Wallington

by Abi Weaver

Independent film-maker Mike Wallington talks to LIDF in the first in our series of special interviews. Mike was John Samson’s long time collaborator and produced of Tattoo, Dressing For Pleasure, Britannia and Arrows all of which are being screened as part of the LIDF09 John Samson Retrospective on 28 and 30 March 2009.

Dressing for Pleasure

For the first time all Samson’s films will be screened together at this event. The films have been recovered and digitalised by Robin Samson, the director’s son, and the majority of the films to be shown have not been seen for over 25 years. Tickets for the opening night retrospective on 28 March are available on sale via the LIDF website only.
