Women in the Muslim world are the least heard voices in film and media today. This event brings together experts and audiences from across the world to debate the social, artistic and economic empowerment of Muslim women. A day of films, dialogue, education and entertainment.

Objectives:

• To enable Muslim women to share knowledge and insights with each and with mainstream society.
• To encourage Muslim women to speak out and take media and leadership roles.
• To raise the profile of, and attract more people, both Muslims and non-Muslims, to the nascent women’s movement within Islam and broadcast positive voices on Islamic issues other than the discourse of violent extremism.
