The box office has now closed for this film.

In Waldenburg, in the Lower Silesian coalfields, all the old coal mines have been closed down.

But Lukasz and his friend Jacek have been digging coal at their own risk here for several years now, like hundreds of other former miners.

Despite the dangers and despite being trapped many times, they all keep digging, hacking out the black gold they rely on for so much.
