The practices of photography and film-making share a rich history. In the past decade new technologies have caused boundaries to blur and opened up possibilities for professionals and citizen journalists alike.

At LIDF 2010 we aim to explore the differences between these two practices as well as considering how they converge, beyond technical definition. Professionals from the film, photography and radio industries will all join our panels, lead workshops and participatory events, and contribute new voices to our ‘conversations in documentary’.
