Watch in Style…
Written by Grace Pattison

This year in addition to the plethora of brilliant new documentaries, LIDF also reveals some of London’s most stylish and luxurious surroundings in which to watch them. Three hotels with private screening rooms feature on our list of venues, all centrally located with beautifully designed interiors and sumptuous seating.
The Charlotte Street Hotel is home to our official opening night film Fidelity (Requiem Por Fidel) on Saturday 28 March and then Soho Hotel will host our Cancer Research Charity Screening on Monday 30 March featuring a double bill of Murgia Karst Phenomenon + Stone Pastures. Both unmissable events.
In addition we have Intelligent Life at the Soho Hotel on Sunday 29 March – a photo essay style portrait of modern America – followed by a panel discussion with Colin Jacobson and Professor John Howard.
To round off the week, on Friday 3 April, Arms, Dealings and National Interest will be at the Courthouse Hotel, while Virtual JFK – a hypothetical analysis of what would have happened in Vietnam if Kennedy had lived and been re-elected – is at the Soho Hotel.
So why not take the opportunity to enjoy the luxury and comfort of these exclusive venues and join us for a cocktail in the bar afterwards.
