Franny Armstrong’s latest film The Age of Stupid, a mixture of documentary and fiction, filmed on location in America, the UK, India, Nigeria, Iraq, Jordan and the Alps, looks at climate change, oil, war, politics, consumerism and, of course, human stupidity. Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?
