CURATE! – LIDF Volunteers take Centre Stage
As part of the European Year of Volunteering the LIDF has devised a special festival strand featuring 6 great European documentaries programmed, coordinated, hosted and presented entirely by LIDF volunteers. All Curate! screenings at Europe House are FREE. To be sure of seat click on the booking link beside each film.
The LIDF, like many festivals, relies heavily upon volunteer engagement and is grateful, each year, for the quality, enthusiasm and dedication of the input we receive. The Festival is aware that volunteering provides a unique opportunity to learn new skills and engage with peer groups and other creative and professional networks. Every opportunity is taken to enhance these prospects for LIDF volunteers.
The Festival knows from experience that, when given the opportunity, volunteers rise to the challenge and enhance the public reception of the Festival. Curate! is a means of recognising and rewarding the valuable contribution of our volunteers.
