Synopsis:
The Mechanical Ballet was shot in London inside of a pointe shoes factory, which are shoes worn by classical dancers. The film reveals the different steps of the shoes’ creation, highlights the gestures of the workers, and explores their relationship with the machines and the sounds they create.
